Fix and Flip in the Catalina Foothills

This Capital Fund I borrower came across a great property out in Tucson, with an interesting floorplan.  The interior has some catching up to do with design, but once updates are completed our borrower will expecting around 15-20% return on investment.

The fix and flip market in the Tucson area has been seeing a lot of activity in the past few months, and has even been assisting with having liquidity in Tucson’s real estate market.  Thanks to private hard money available to use for real estate investments the Tucson real estate market saw strides of recovery in 2016 that are expected to continue into 2017.  By having real estate investors update existing homes, new residents, and even existing residents, are encouraged to move into the newly renovated homes, and put their own homes onto the market.

Though only time will tell how the fix and flip trend will continue in Tucson’s various real estate markets, it is great to see the market recover and move towards a healthier state.
